In the BAANG project work is being done to enable aircraft to use controlled morphing of a wing. In particular, the so-called leading edge, whose changes in different phases of flight are intended to significantly increase the efficiency of flight in different modes, including take-off or landing.

What should such morphing look like? Check out the demonstrator that colleagues from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering BUT have created for this purpose.
