The Czech Association of Research Managers and Administrators (CZARMA) held its second annual CZARMA Conference and its third Membership Meeting. This year’s main topic was the profession of manager and administrator in research from the perspective of research institution management.

The event was held on October 2, 2024 in Brno with the organizational support of the Brno University of Technology, in it´s representative premises four representatives of research institution management and more than 150 members of the association gathered, with another seventy participating online. This year the conference was preceded by roundtable discussions.

The BAANG project was represented at the event by Blanka Marušincová and Jana Přikrylová. The project was then introduced in the form of a poster, and colleagues shared their lessons learned and best practices at the event. The space for sharing was, for example, during the roundtables, where participants took turns at each table for twenty minutes and discussed the topic under the guidance of expert topic guarantors – each table thus addressed a different area related to research management and offered participants different forms of activities.
